No more veils

The sweet silent miracle of
knowing oneself to be

And in so knowing
Knowing All

A rooster crowing

The sensation of coolness where
the stone floor meets the foot

A lizard chirping

The smell of smoke drifting in
from a nearby village.

Day breaks and dim shapes
turning into bushes and trees.

A peacock calling out

Is All you touching me

Oh how close you are
My very own Self
No more veils
to hide your radiant gaze

From every corner of the universe
I see only You seeing Me

Ever present

What is it that we are?

What is it in us that is always here?

What is it in us that notices the sunlight
reflected on a drop of water
hanging from a leaf?

or the swishing of palm leaves
in the wind ?

An ant crossing the terrace?

The humming of the fridge?

What is it in us which sees thoughts and emotions?

The irritations and moods?

The breathing out?

The neighbor shouting loud?

What is That which sees,
since forever,
all appearances coming and going
Changelessly so.?

Look beyond the coming and goings
of appearances to That which is always present.

There is only This.

Everything else comes and goes.

And there are no words to describe This

Its non conceptual

beyond words

but ever present.

There is only what is.

What it is we do not know

We only know that it is.

All else is a story.

Returning to Source...

 Jerry katz wrote on Facebook:
It's beautiful when things fall apart.
And the following came as a result of this sentence:

Every appearance is inevitably on the way
towards its demise.

A newborn baby carries the inescapable certainty
that the body will die.

A mountain is likewise continuously changing
its appearance.

Centuries from now erosion will have
carried away large chunks of this seemingly solid
and unchanging appearance in the landscape.

This fact of destruction, annihilation and
falling apart is something that,
when not resisted and judged,
carries an incredible beauty.
Its a feature from Source,  from Emptiness itself.

And something which we often prefer to ignore, or avoid.
But when we are able to take in this ravaging
characteristic of the infinite, we see a raw,
awesome and often exhilarating power.
Breathtaking after natural disasters.
After a tsunami or cyclone when all
the world has changed appearance
beyond recognition,
one feels awestruck...

At any moment the process of falling apart
of dying,
of returning to Emptiness,
can evoke feelings of wonder and awe,
of tenderness,
of sadness and grief.

Any emotion might turn up witnessing
this natural process of returning to Source.

And these emotions also come and disappear.

All returns to Source as Source

Just happening..

Good morning
Good morning
Isn't it a good morning?
Just good to be here.?

A walk in the forest
the rhythm of the footsteps
in and out of sync with
a pair of coppersmiths calling out
to each other.

As each branch and twig
a tiny stone lodged in the shoe
each in-take of breath
the jasmine flowers growing wild
are calling out

for the joy of It.

With all the senses wide open
already happening
and happening

Did you notice?

Enlightened ?

the Clear View

What we know about This,
What Is,
Is that it is Here
and immediate.

That it is simple, intimate
and accessible.
and always has been.

That nothing and
has ever been able to cover
this up.

It is our own beliefs,
conditioning, concepts,
ideas that have obscured
the clear view.

And sure, anything and anyone
can be a help to expose those
beliefs,  and ideas.

Can give pointers to That,
what we are already

Stepping into this,
which simply happens
through grace,
which cannot be done,
everything is experienced
in this nowness,
hereness as one happening.

The idea of the person has lost its validity, substance
and the seamlessness of existence becomes apparent,
as it was when we were a child.

The nagging voice in the head
always judging and commenting
has lost its footing.

Everything is always now and perfect.

Nothing out of place.

The road itself...

“Once you realize that the road is the goal and that you are always on the road, not to reach a goal, but to enjoy its beauty and its wisdom, life ceases to be a task and becomes natural and simple, in itself an ecstasy.”

~ Nisargadatta Maharaj

All Right
at any moment
and every moment
the fullness of Life
is already appearing
as it does.

There are no mistakes.
All and every appearance
is only That appearing as It self.

The ignorance,
incompetence and
as well as
the beauty
the wisdom and

And without anybody labeling
or judging.
It is just Life happening.

Whole civilizations are born and swallowed up.
Species have come and go,
leaving their huge skeletons for us to ponder.
Galaxies and super novas exploding
The arrival of spring.
The ravaging of war.

It is the person who tries to understand and
makes sense,   and it can't.
It places itself apart from creation and tries
to capture the infinite,
That which has no name,
with order and measurements,
concepts and ideas.

It is when the idea of the person has exhausted itself
that Life recognizes Itself as the Suchness of things
The seeking and grasping coming to an end.

You equals Life equals
the total perception of each moment
in whatever shape or form
it chooses to appear.

a flying bush

                                  Hundreds of wings fluttering
                                  After the rain
The sweet smelling bush taking off

Back in India since a week,
as if never gone anywhere.
Just here.

Holland is far away,
and if one does not think about it,
it does not exist.

Amazing this simple observation,
and such freedom when realized.
Never at the wrong place
Always right here.

Driving with a motorbike on dusty roads.
Bright colored saris.
Jungle green.
The scorching midday sun.
A thunder lightening rolling in.
Dark grey clouds and a low rumble.

Just here,
where else could one be?    ;-)
